Diligence often comes from the energy of building something great.
This energy doesn’t come from us, it comes from the work itself. It pulls us forward.
When your work is great you’ll feel it, like you can feel the static of electricity before a lightning storm.
It will consume you and your reality. In other words, obsession. You can find yourself losing track of time, withdrawing from the external world and all its chaos.
But other times you can also find yourself counting the minutes go by, like a prisoner etching marks on a cell wall.
It’s all a part of the process. Sometimes the energy of that work isn’t always available to you, you’re so zoomed in you can’t see the bigger picture. This is natural.
You can always find your way back though, take a few steps back and zoom out. Your focused attention is the only thing that will make you grow, you the creator and your creation rely on each other to thrive.
If you find yourself energy depleted, you're not on the right path, once you feel that static pulling you forward, that's how you'll know.
Carl Jung Said "If the path before you is clear, you're probably on someone else's."
I urge you to experiment until you find that ♾️
until next time 🤞🏽
